EDITORIAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Roles and Responsibilities:


  Mission:

Reporting to Chair of Industry Affairs Council (EAC) on behalf of the President/CEO and Editor – Facility Manager magazine, the Editorial Advisory Committee provides for the enrichment of industry topics in the form of educational content that encourages and equips IAAM professionals by providing written articles, resources, and business concepts with creative thinking to assist the Association in globally addressing the needs of the sports, entertainment, and exhibition industry.
 
 


Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Consisting of diverse industry representation, the Editorial Advisory Committee shall work with Editor and staff in developing strategies and establishing benchmarks for business enhancement of the Facility Manager.

2. As the magazine charts its professional development direction, these individuals will also be called upon to assist in that area. Part of that anticipated growth will be in the area of journal articles, a process that has started following an initiative by the Body of Knowledge task force.

3. The editorial advisory group shall play a role in helping determine appropriate cover subjects for the magazine. The individuals who grace the cover of Facility Manager all share one thing in common: They are involved and known for their leadership capacity.

4. Research and recommend a method of collecting and alerting IAAM Front Row News of venue related activity, e.g., Google Alert and develop a method for reporting the news to the media.
