Roles and Responsibilities:


  Mission:
A
s part of the Industry Affairs Council, the IAAM Press and Publications Committee will build on the IAAM alliance with on-line publishing company Lulu Inc., to promote to IAAM members the opportunity to publish books, employee manuals, memoirs, CD’s, training material, and any other type of literature they may desire, regardless of its relation to the IAAM or the public assembly industry. 
 


Roles and Responsibilities:

     1.    The committee will promote to IAAM members the publication opportunities
          available through the IAAM relationship with Lulu.

2.    The PPC promote to IAAM members information on:
a.      
Production Cost
b.     
Page Cost
c.      
Member cost
d.     
Non-member cost
e.      
Royalty Splits
f.      
IAAM Foundation Contributions
g.      
IAAM Press and Publications Website Integration/hosting and page
      branding

h.     
Invoice Branding
i.       
Invoicing IAAM for items paid for and mailed our behalf. 

3.    The PPC will work to identify and provide resources to assist IAAM members with their publishing goals, including ghostwriters, copy editors, and collaborative authors. 

4.    Through the IAC, the PPC will work to promote the IAAM-Lulu offering to affiliated organizations in the sports, entertainment, performing arts and convention/expo industries.
